Rilovane User Guide
Welcome to Rilovane — your personal all-in-one hub for staying organized. This guide explains what each part of the app does and how to get things done, in plain language. You do not need any technical background to follow along.
Getting Around
- Home / Launcher: When you open Rilovane you land on the home screen, which shows your available features grouped into categories. Click a tile to open that feature.
- Sidebar: The left sidebar lets you jump between features at any time. You can collapse it to make more room, and it groups features by category (for example Games, Productivity, Finance & Home).
- Settings: Open Settings to personalize the app — change the theme and colors and pick which features appear.
- User Guide: Reopen this guide any time from the User Guide option at the bottom of the module drawer.
- Notifications: Rilovane surfaces gentle reminders (like upcoming tasks or streaks) in the notification area so nothing slips through the cracks.
Personalizing Rilovane
Open Settings to make Rilovane yours:
- Profile: Set a display name used in the welcome greeting.
- Appearance: Choose a light or dark theme, an accent color, a font, the layout density, and the base text size. You can also turn on reduced motion or high contrast for comfort.
- Startup & Behavior: Pick which screen Rilovane opens to, whether the sidebar starts collapsed, and whether Rilovane asks you to confirm before deleting items or exiting.
- Modules: Turn features on or off so you only see what you use.
Moving Your Data to Another Computer
In Settings, use Export all data to save everything into a single file, then use Import data on another computer to bring it all across. This includes your information and any attachments.
Features
Games
Take a mental break with built-in games, found under the Games category. Every game lets you pick a difficulty (Easy, Medium, or Hard), saves your progress automatically so you can finish later, and rewards you with streaks and awards as you keep playing and winning.
- Sudoku: Choose a difficulty and click Start New Game. Click a cell, then type a number (1–9) or use the on-screen number pad. Use Erase to clear a cell and Hint if you get stuck — note that using a hint means the puzzle no longer counts as a clean solve. Your time and progress are saved automatically, so you can come back and finish later. Earn best-time and clean-solve awards as you improve.
- Chess: Play against the computer. Pick a difficulty, then click one of your pieces to see where it can move and click a highlighted square to move there. Rilovane handles checks, checkmate, stalemate, and promoting a pawn for you.
- Checkers: Play against the computer. Pick a difficulty, click a piece, then click a highlighted square to move or jump. Jumps are required when available, and multi-jumps are chained automatically. Reach the far side to get a king.
Tasks
Keep track of everything you need to do. Add tasks, set due dates, mark them complete, and let Rilovane remind you about what's coming up.
Notes
Jot down and organize your notes in one place so you can find them again quickly.
Calendar
See your schedule and important dates at a glance and plan ahead.
Documents
Store and organize important documents and files, and keep them tidy and easy to find.
Recipes & Meal Planner
Save recipes, plan meals, and (optionally) estimate the nutrition of your recipes. Nutrition estimates use a free online food database — you can add your own free key in Settings for higher limits, or leave it blank to use the shared demo option.
Password Vault
Keep your passwords and secrets in a secure vault. For safety, the vault can automatically lock after a period of inactivity, and copied secrets can be cleared from the clipboard after a short time — both are configurable in Settings.
