Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2025
Rilovane is built so that your personal information stays with you. This policy is short because there is very little to disclose.
The Rilovane app
- Your data stays on your computer. Everything you enter — tasks, notes, finances, health logs, documents and so on — is stored locally in your Windows user profile. We never receive it.
- No account. You don't sign up, sign in, or give us an email address to use Rilovane.
- No telemetry or analytics. The app does not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or identifiers.
- Exports are yours. When you export your data, the file is saved wherever you choose. We have no access to it.
When the app uses the internet
- Update checks. Rilovane asks GitHub for the latest release and, if you choose to update, downloads the installer from GitHub. GitHub may log standard request information (such as your IP address) under its own privacy statement.
- Weather. If you use the Weather module, the locations you add are sent to the weather provider to fetch forecasts.
- Other modules that fetch online content only do so when you use them.
This website
- The site does not use cookies or tracking scripts.
- Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
- The download page asks the GitHub API for the latest version number and download count.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
